Arrest Lt. John Pike

Shown in this photo and many more (taken by those in the background of this one) is Lt John Pike assaulting a group of youth. The Davis Enterprise reports that one of the protesters would later need medical attention for chemical burns. Beyond the politics of the Occupy protests, it is simply illegal for someone to assault and do serious physical harm in this manner, with ample documentation, and get away with it. The man in this photo must be released and barred from any position of authority, and should be arrested.

Al Jazeera has picked up the story and put it right next to lethal and widespread police brutality in Tahrir Square. Hopefully the international community will see the parallels!

    8. Let's get out there! They should think twice about attacking innocents.

Spread the word of this petition, it's day two and looks like we'll be hitting at least 100, we can try for 500! Link us up to Facebook, Twitter and discussion forums. If we can show the police that they will be accountable for illegal action they might think twice about doing anything while 100 cameras are pointed at them. Make them fear Little Brother, the justice arm of the 99.

These policemen should be permanently fired because their actions reveal gross arrogance and prejudice against the basic principles of the American people.
