The Ross Revenge (Radio Caroline) is the the last, and was the first and best of the radio pirates of the 1960's.

Radio Caroline brought the BBC to it's knees in the 60's and banished the old system of transmitting music to the public forever! She would be a fantastic tourist attraction for Gravesham.

The ship is currently moored in a tiny birth in Tilbury, hidden away from public view/access whilst Gravesend is a "Riverside heritage town" with very little moored along it's riverfront.

We would like to move the Ross Revenge over to the Gravesham riverside and open it up to the public. We believe that it would be a fantastic tourist attraction and bring a great deal of visitors to the area.

Since I first came across the Ross Revenge almost two years ago, I have been determined to bring the ship to Gravesend. With tremendous support from Peter Moore and others, I have engaged with various authorities including the Port of London Authority to ensure that the move would be feasible and it is.

All we need now is your support and help to persuade Gravesham Borough Council that they should back this project which will be at no cost to them.

Please help us on our mission to not only allow public access to The Ross Revenge but also help to boost tourism in Gravesend by signing this petition and showing your support.

Radio Caroline has been an important part of radio history and as such should saved and made available to a wider public.

Its colourful past would be a great draw.
