Prevent Verizon Wireless from killing grandfathered unlimited data plans

Companies should appreciate their customer's loyalty, and not change rules that were originally set for customer retention. This is commonly called a bait-and-switch.

Verizon Communications CFO Fran Shammo says "A lot of our 3G base is on unlimited. When they migrate off 3G they will have to go to data share. That is beneficial to us." Beneficial, because they will make even more money. Data share means that a family can share one data plan, but it is tiered, and they have yet to release pricing details. Expect 4G pricing, starting at $50 and up.

Tell Verizon to keep grandfathered plans, and respect their customers. Otherwise, we will switch to another carrier for good.

Also, we all hate spam, so this is the last you'll hear from this petition. Thanks again everyone!

Was just informed that if we upgrade we loose our plan that some call "feature" but is definitely outlined as part of our plan. Everyone comes up with a reason why they can take it away. Cannot possibly be legal.

I have been told for years by Verizon Wireless that as long as I didn't change plans I would NEVER lose my unlimited data. Due for an upgrade January. If I lose it good by Verizon and hello AT&T.

I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and am currently month to month, this is definitely going to make me look at another carrier. If this is how you treat your loyal, long term customers, I'm done being one.

I'm not affected, but this affects my parents and brother.
