Honorable President Pratibha Patil had commuted the death sentence of about 35 cases to life. Among them were those who were convicted of mass murder, kidnapping, rape and killing of children. These were the rarest of rare cases.

Among these cases were:

SATISH : Brutalized and murdered Visakha, 6, a UP resident, in 2001

DHARMENDRA SINGH and NARENDRA YADAV :They killed a couple and their 3 minor children in 1994.The female was molested before the murder. Narendra had tried to rape her a few days back too.

MOLAI RAM & SANTOSH YADAV :Two convicts serving term on other charges raped and killed a 16 year old X class girl and dumped her body in a septic tank

BANTU: Raped and repeatedly tortured Vaishali a 5 year old girl in the worst possible way.

BANDU BABURAO TIDKE : Raped and killed a 12 year old school girl.

PIARA SINGH and HIS THREE SONS: Massacred 17 of a wedding party for a personal rivalry. The victims included four children.

SHOBHIT CHAMAR : Killed  6 of an upper caste landlord's family, including 2 kids who were snatched from their mother's lap and shot.

R GOVINDSWAMY :From Kerala, sentenced for murder of his paternal uncle, aunt, their three children over a land dispute

SHYAM MANOHAR, SHEO RAM, PRAKASH, RAVINDER SURESH and HARISH: Five deaths over a property dispute. Heads of three were severed while a ten year old boy was assaulted, thrown in fire and was roasted alive and the 5th who sustained firearm injuries died in hospital 17 days later.

OM PRAKASH: From Uttarakhand, murdered retired brigadier and two family members.

SUSHIL MURMU: Sacrificed a 9-yr-old boy by beheading him in a ritual sacrifice .Had a 9 year old of his own.

JAIKUMAR | Murdered pregnant sister-in-law and niece

The punishment if they had been carried out would have perhaps served a deterrent that India wouldn't tolerate these crime. But, they weren't. Why? Haste or any other BIG reason?

Not with the intention of maligning the highest position in this country but the speed at which these pardons were given seemed haste. So, please revoke these pardons.

Paradoxically ex President now says that she wants no mercy to the Delhi Gang rape culprits.
The Question is:"What was she doing when she had the authority to decide." Its Blasphemy.
And what role does the Home Minister had?
