End the hunting of wolves in Wisconsin

Wolves in Wisconsin at one time were an endangered species. They have slowly been making a comeback thanks to positive steps being taken to protect them. Unfortunately, their numbers are still small, and Governor Scott Walker and DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp are on the path to once again putting the timber wolf back on the endangered species list.

To:
Governor Scott Walker, DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp
End the hunting of wolves in Wisconsin! Their populations are too little, and too precious to allow them to be put back on the endangered species list. They hold an important job in the ecosystem, and are a wonderful part of Wisconsin's rich wildlife. Please work to protect these wonderful animals.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

I support the ending of hunting in Wisconsin and the re-listing of Grey Wolves to full protections under the Endangered Species Act in the Lake States and the northern Rockies, The game management agencies in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming have declared all out war on wolves in those states, refusing to acknowledge the critical ecological roles wolves play in maintaining herd health and sustainable habitat conditions in those areas. In the Lake States, fear, paranoia, politics, economics, and misinformation have unduly influenced wolf management while true science, as well as the interests of the vast majority of the local residents, have been ignored. Please do the right thing and end wolf hunting in Wisconsin and use your influence to help restore full ESA protections to grey wolves in the Lake States.

I have had a love for wolves as long as i can remember and they do their part in the ecosystem.Unlike mankind they only hunt to eat and feed their young, not for the fun of killing or to watch pain and suffering....

Wolves were nearly decimated in this country by ignorance. Slowly, with careful nurturing and support by activists and government officials who have a conscience and who are not bein paid off they started to make a comback. This unholy slaughter will really demonstrate the ignorance of the government representatives who permit it. Typical republicans. Shame on you.
