Wolves in Wisconsin at one time were an endangered species. They have slowly been making a comeback thanks to positive steps being taken to protect them. Unfortunately, their numbers are still small, and Governor Scott Walker and DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp are on the path to once again putting the timber wolf back on the endangered species list.
Governor Scott Walker, DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp
End the hunting of wolves in Wisconsin! Their populations are too little, and too precious to allow them to be put back on the endangered species list. They hold an important job in the ecosystem, and are a wonderful part of Wisconsin's rich wildlife. Please work to protect these wonderful animals.
This has turned into something I could only dream of! I thank everyone who has signed and shared this with people they know. We're not done! We're not done until wolves can roam safely and freely in Wisconsin!
