Give the world's poorest a voice in the fight to end poverty
  • Petitioned Prime Minister Cameron, President Johnson-Sirleaf, and President Yudhoyono

This petition was delivered to:

Prime Minister Cameron, President Johnson-Sirleaf, and President Yudhoyono

Give the world's poorest a voice in the fight to end poverty

    1. Sponsored by

      ONE

This spring, the UN is working to make a global plan to end extreme poverty by 2030. This is an important plan that will affect the livelihoods, the health, and the futures of millions of the world’s poorest people. But right now, those people are not involved in that agenda-setting process. ONE believes that the path to ending extreme poverty must be one that factors in the voices of those actually living in extreme poverty.

Sign our global petition urging world leaders to make sure the plan to end extreme poverty is specific, measurable & accountable.

To:
Prime Minister Cameron, President Johnson-Sirleaf, and President Yudhoyono
As you create a plan to end extreme poverty, please ensure it reflects the views of the world's most vulnerable people and that it's goals are specific, measurable and accountable.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

Give the world's poorest a voice but ensure they are given proper assistance in using their voice realistically
