While the bombing of the Boston Marathon was a horrible crime, the time has come for America to take a stand against the cycle of retributive violence that has plagued the world for far too long. We cannot let the rage, grief and fear of that day rule over us any longer. Healing will not come from meeting hate with hate. Let us truly work toward healing by refusing to meet violence with violence, and make a concrete move toward the peaceful ideal we all aspire to.

This is a real tradgedy, and I am angry this has happened. Senseless violence..the death penalty is Dzhokhar Tsarnaevs' "way out". Having never been to a prison prior to his conviction, he really didn't realize the full extent of the consequences. Being in prison now for a year has surely made him realize this...he wants to die to "escape". Lets not give him what he wants. Life in prison and 24hour lockdown is what he deserves for taking the lives of innocent people and maiming and injuring so many others.

We really dont know all the facts...ANYONE will admit to anything if they are beaten and arent given their miranda rights read to them...and wasnt allowed to speak to a lawyer for days. If I was being beaten by cops...I'd admit to shit just to get them to stop.

Because he is INNOCENT. We might not be a part of a government or a global organization or even be people of importance, but we do have brains.

Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev are innocent and America is at blame.

Do not bring back the death penalty. The Boston bar association also agrees to not issue the death penalty to Dzhokhar in their statement released Jan, 2014 opposing the death penalty. The death penalty is immoral. It is against my religious beliefs. For those reasons it should not be issued in the Boston marathon bombing case. I know many Bostonians who also agree.

The death penalty is an example of cold, premeditated murder
