LRMC has been an integral part of Lee County for many years and its closure would not only result in a hardship for our residents, but also result in the loss of urgent medical care of increased mortality for our community.

Because we need our Hospital, for some may refuse to go all the way to Big Stone or Kingsport Tenn, and lay around the house and die.

This is the only hospital in our county. We need an emergency room or urgent care center in this county, even if patients are eventually transported to other hospitals, because time is of the essence e in so many health emergencies. We are almost all rather poor in this county and it will be so much more expensive to travel to another hospital for any reason. The lab and xray dept should stay open, at least the lab. Even as an employer of so many residents of Lee County, it is important to stay open.
