Instead of acknowledging the problem of sexual harassment at the University of Jordan, the administration fired the professor and expelled the students. This is a blatant disregard for these women's rights and the University should apologize for this outrage, reinstate Professor Rula Quawas and the expelled students effective immediately! Because I believe that violence against women is a tactic to keep women in an oppressed state. I want to feel safe and people should not be further penalized for attempting to create change. I do this because I am an agent of change.

Silencing someone is not a way to find a long-lasting solution to conflict. Address the real issue.

I am signing this because everyday young women who strive to be successful are expelled from a respectable learning institution. Why? Because they have the courage and personal strength to say what needs to be said and are thrown out of those colleges and universities for displaying what they believe in.It is a disgrace to deny someone the access to a great education and a striving life due to their fear of change.
