My husband is a disabled veteran and documented hero who is deteriorating due to his inability to obtain medical cannabis and is forced to take dangerous drugs which he had been warned not to take by doctors in California. We now live in Kentucky and all we have had is harassment by local authorities and law enforcement due to his past use of the herb and current advocacy. Our rights have been violated for years by local law enforcement who seem to be bent on harassing us and have been cought but seem to be able to cover it up even though phone records and video/audio evidence can substantiate our claims. This gestapo attitude by law enforcement and politicians need to cease immediately. It seems clear that the DEA,ATF,FBI,FDA and police feel that they have the right to overstep their bounds and even blackmail politicians who are trying to pass laws in favor of the sick who can benefit by the herbs use according to an article on mercola.com. It is in my opinion and the opinion of 99% of americans are tired of being treated by our elected officials thet they have the right to lie and conspire to pass laws which overstep their bounds. Time for the dirty politics to stop I believe and as my husband has told me and what I have seen he has asked citizens if they feel these dirty politicians who are bought off by lobbyists and powerful interests groups should be tried and executed for treason "THE PEOPLE SAY YES" be aware politicians, lobbyists and special interest groups who are involved in passing laws without the consent of the people and conspiring to change the constitution for their dirty agenda we outnumber you 99-1........ M.F.

I am a former licensed medical cannabis patient and 100% certified disabled VETERAN from California and now live in Kentucky "THE PROTECT YOUR OWN AND VIOLATE EVERYONE ELSES RIGHTS GOOD OL' BOY STATE" .For 5 years now have been followed, harrased, intimited, physically/verbally threatened, accused of being a drug dealer, child abuser, child molester ect. ect. by local police and citizens. Even though I am a documented hero, my rights and my wife's rights who is Hispanic have been violated under the civil rights ammendment, color of law and KY harassment laws ect. This started as soon as I moved here and continue today. This has all been documented with the VA of Nashville who in my opinion is partially at fault due to documented neglect of my health care. I have been forced to live with a video camera and audio recorder to substantiate the facts because of defamation and coverup by my Federal and Local Government and several other violations I can prove in other states. But I have a surprise VIDEO and AUDIO evidence...... try to get out of that one!!!!! For I am smart enough to send it out of country get it authenticated and out of the jurisdiction of the U.S. so even the Feds can't cover it up. Even the state troopers and FBI seem to agree with me about my case as well as people who work in the VA. The problem is getting an Attorney who is not "chicken" to take my family's case into Federal court even though it seems every civil rights attorneys tipped me off to the corruption and cover up in this state, so I will do it pro per if necessary.... This all due to being a former med can patient and current advocate in my opinion..... THANK YOU U.S. gov't for in my opinion "you screwed us all and continue to do so". "Kentucky is 2nd to California in Marijuana production" and in my opinion dirty law enforcement/Judges/Prosecutors and politicians covering up their padding of pockets with dirty money and protecting their own interests in the state of Kentucky known for its KLANS and MILITIAS who from what I hear run it all......... UN SINCERELY T.H. P.S. everyone in the U.S. should sign this petition due to law enforcement in this country given permission to act like the gestapo in NAZI GERMANY they now can say "I SMELL MARIJUANA, VIOLATE YOUR RIGHTS, FRAME YOU AND COVER IT UP" "WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! OR WE MAY BE SAYING SEIK HEIL TO THE PRESIDENT"

For the simple fact that it is a plant not a drug and its benefits far outweight its risk. Alcohol and Tobacco are far more harmful and create more health problems. Its an abuse of power to continue to prosecute and inprison individuals for the use of a plant that is so beneficial.

It is wrong to jail a person for their choice of "Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness", a major part of the U.S. Constitution. People have used cannabis for thousands of years. For the U.S. to subsidize cartels with weapons is tatamount to accessory to murder. In regard to the americans in jail for weed vs the violent criminals who have been released, I pray for the public's safety. Why do we allow non-viloent offenders to remain locked up, while rapists & child molesters are set free because of overcrowding? "We the People" are to blame. We have become lazy & catatonic in regard to prison reform & bad laws. WAKE UP PEOPLE. If you wait until a loved one or yourself to be jailed, then it will be too late. This is a moral issue. Stand up & make your voice heard. Apathy will not set anyone free. It can f*** up your kids or family for life. I'm ashamed of my fellow Americans. We need to march to the Capitol for prison reform. NO MORE PRIVATE PRISONS. When a human being becomes a commodity, you can be sure things are F***** up. What ever happened to rehabilitation? Oh yeah, it affects the bottom line, PROFIT. I'm so ashamed of Americans. WAKE UP PEOPLE! Before it's too late for someone you love.
