There are a lot of community and local elementary school families dependent on the care, supervision, mentoring, guidance, and structure of the Center and its loyal staff members. I would like to have a sense of peace knowing that my child is in a peaceful and safe environment where folks are doing more than babysitting them.

It is really important for our local community to have a children's program that is local, affordable, and simply available

Many parents who cannot afford summer school or camps depend on this program. Who are we to deny a child the right to attend a camp or summer program, rather than having them in the streets up to no good or learning bad behaviors. This program offers the opportunity to be in a safe environment while having fun and learning how to interact with other children. To do away with this program would devastate many children and families, for they would no longer have a safe place while their parents are at work.

Not only are kids affected, parents, community, and local jobs would be affected. Keep it open!

Although I don't have children in the program at this time I would love for my grandson to attend once he graduates from the BH Child Dev. Ctr. in May 2012.

There are no other programs in the Belle Haven Community that cater to or admit kindergarten students in their afterschool care programs. Please don’t deprive these students or any other child of experiencing this wonderful safe program.

My young daughter attends the after-school program. Big point: Transportation. I am able to work FT without having to pay others for a ride after-school, or me taking off work to do so. This service goes a very long way. My daughter is happy with the staff, and the staff works with her on homework. I am greatful for this program & she is too, you may ask her yourself & no doubt she will say it with a smile on her face.
