    1. Petition by

      VeteranAid.org

Millions and millions of veterans, their spouses, or widows missing out on VA pension benefit to help pay for care.

This pension is a critical piece for Veterans and their families who are struggling to pay for assisted care, yet the VA does not inform Veterans of the existence of this pension.

Help us petition the VA to inform Veterans about ALL their benefit options, including the Improved Pension (more informatoin about the Improved Pension can be found on my website, VeteranAid.org).

We need your voice to be heard.  Please sign our petition today and forward this petition to every friend and relative to get us to our goal of 25,000 signatures.

Thank you!

Veterans who are eligible but not receiving these pensions due to convenient government "backlogs" are going hungry, cold, homeless; and dying of impoverishment while the VA uses their identities as an excuse to enrich itself. The VA is the most inept excuse for a government agency; it is the biggest, most useless, disgraceful boondoggle in the history of civilization.

Our family implores you to please look into the shameful and incredibly difficult application process that an elderly veteran must go through to apply for the A&A Benefits.

      Thank You.

My father is a WWII vet. He is suffering needlessly. I asked for help from many elder care financial experts and NONE of them told me about VA pension he is entitled to receive - and I specifically asked them about VA benefits. I only found out because I received a solicitation phone call from someone who explained it and offered to help me for a fee of $900 (which is illegal). In addition, this person gave me wrong info. But, thank God for this crook because I never would have known the VA had a war pension for my father, who desperately needs it at 86 years old. It is a crime these vets, who put their lives on the line for their country enlisting in wartime, are not informed. And it leaves the door open for crooks!

My husband has 12 years of service with the U. S. Navy with no benefits for this time. He has health issues as do I. We are in our middle 70s and may need this pension in the near future. I just found out this benefit is available should we need it. Thank you for the information.
