Our story so far...
When our campaign began last year, Iraq was largely off the agenda. Despite escalating violence, President Barack Obama spent nearly two years conspicuously avoiding all mention of Iraq.
Then thousands of concerned folks like you signed our petition, saying "enough is ENOUGH" as our campaign gained momentum.
Late last year we began seeing an impact.
On November 30, President Obama finally ended his silence and met with Iraq's Prime Minister at the White House. Since then, the President has mentioned Iraq on multiple occasions, most recently in Brussels.
NOW MORE THAN EVER, it's time for the US to get behind a clear, long-term strategy for peace in Iraq and the region.
SIGN and SHARE this campaign with your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors. Let's stand together to remind Obama and Congress that we have a moral obligation to remain responsibly engaged in Iraq and to promote peace and healing after a decade of war.
The deadline to sign is April 15th.
