Denali Botolino is one of the bravest little boys on this planet! He needs to return home to his family this evening! He had Hospice Care at his home, and because he was admitted today for a blood transfusion... Mr. Smith has made the decision to not allow Hospice to return to their home.. which would allow Denali to be with those who love him most! We need to cut through this red tape NOW!
Please, please sign this petition.. HE NEEDS US.. they need to let him go home with his loving family.

NO ONE CAN EVER DESCRIBE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHEN YOUR CHILD IS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER!
Your heart STOPS, your world unravels in seconds before your eyes and everything comes to a screeching halt. On March 25, 2010 Denali's eyes were yellow which prompted the first blood test. One LONG week and many doctors and tests later, we were given the news that has changed our lives forever. Our precious 8 year old son was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer. After consulting with some of the nation’s leading hospitals, it was determined that the tumor is of an unknown cell. Our only option was a radical multi visceral transplant, as we were told that that this tumor would not respond to chemotherapy. When the tumor metastasized to his liver, then the option of a multi visceral was no longer available to us. A Miami doctor insisted on trying a combination of chemotherapy. Since then, the tumor has been compromised and a final diagnosis of the cell will never be made. After three heartbreaking rounds of chemotherapy combined with a holistic regimen that we researched and designed ourselves, our prayers were answered and we, along with the medical doctors, rejoiced with the news that the tumors had shrunk.
Throughout all of this a doctor at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City kept a watchful eye on our progress and after many tumor board meetings with his associates and fellow doctors, we received word after seven long months that the tumor can be removed by Whipple surgery.
On September 13, 2010 our beautiful little (now 9 year old) son will have this very dangerous and invasive surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. He will also have portions of his liver, stomach and intestines removed. We as a family have traveled with him and will stay with him throughout his lengthy and difficult recuperation and recovery.
To all our dear friends and family, and to those who we have never met but have given us so many words of encouragement, support and understanding, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless your heart.
With love and eternal affection,
The Botolino Family
Ricky, Donatella, Massimo, Denali, Angelina and Chezarina.
