Victory

From Petition Creator: On April 17, Senator Floyd Prozanski announced that Oregon Senate Bill 71 is dead. The companion bill in the House (HB 2710) deals exclusively with the use of drones by law enforcement, which poses no threat to the FPV, RC Hobby or Aerial Photography communities. Thank you for your support!

To protect the rights of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle enthusiasts.

We already have laws that protect privacy and other rights... we do not need more. If someone uses a drone (or a camera on a broomstick held over the fence) to infringe on another persons rights, then enforce the existing laws... this is a no-brainer people.

This is an important personal freedom. Terrorists are most certainly going to find a more effective manner to do damage than something of such limited payload.

RC Why is this important to\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

I have been flying radio controlled models for half of my life I am 50 years old. The way this bill is written it will make it a crime for people to go out and fly their RC models. RC modeling and flying FPV brings people together. This is a fun and rewarding hobby we need to make sure it stays that way fun and rewarding.
