Victory

Tim Fogarty: I am not sure I can claim personal victory at all, but between this petition and several other outcries at the thought of this new law the proposed bill was put to rest. For now this legislation is off the table, but we still need to keep our eyes peeled as these folks like to sneak this stuff in on us. Thanks so much for all the signatures and sharing. You guys are wonderful and truly rock!! -- Tim Fogarty

This is important because it will make it harder to find homes for many dogs along with punishing ALL the owners and potential owners of these breeds. Rep. Moore got his information from insurance companies, and not valid canine specialists. We already lose thousands of animals to euthanasia everyday, and we should NEVER pass laws that could cost the lives of innocent animals based on how they look. We say discrimination is bad for humans, so shouldn't we apply the same thought to all the species on our planet?

I wish we could do this with humans who come up with these ridiculous ideas. The world would be a better place. After all, it is not the animals fault. The blame lies on the humans that make them mean.

There is no such thing as an evil animal....BUT there ARE evil humans.....Leave the dogs alone & concentrate on the real problem.....people...PLEASE USE YOUR POWER TO MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR ALL.

Don't tell people who to love...these dogs have proven thier value in war time and as guardians. Focus on animal abusers.

Ignorance is not the way to go. Try a bit of education before you try to eradicate a species that was originally known as being a Nanny dog! It's not the dogs fault for its reputation, it's the fault of those that don't know how to raise a dog. How about doing something useful instead of picking on a breed?
