As many of you will know this man is Secretary of State for Education. This means that he is in charge of educating the future generations of this country. However not only do I think that he is incapable of doing this I also believe that he is an arrogant snob who refuses to listen to reasonable advice. Recently the league tables that he has used to justify or attempt to justify his education reforms have been declared "useless and meaningless" in two academic studies. The National Teachers Union has given a UNANIMOUS vote of no confidence in both him and his policies! If the entirety of the National Teachers Union thinks that this man is unfit to do what he does then that alone rings alarm bells. Recently Gove was confronted in an attempt to make him set the starting age for school at 6-7, this was backed by 130 experts and is used in Finland which has one of the most successful education systems in the world. He turned them flat down, declaring the idea ludicrous despite the evidence presented to him. Several MP's are openly questioning his reforms and he has made several claims in speeches that are blatantly untrue. I could go on, however I will not. All you need to do is search the name Michael Gove and your search engine will practically vomit stories of controversy and incompetence. Join me in getting this man removed from his position of power before he does permanent damage.

Also if you feel confident enough that we should begin emailing his office then say so, I can set it so he receives an email for every signature.

To:
Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Education
Please resign as Secretary of State for Education.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

We need someone in charge who understands education at grass roots level and knows what it`s like to be in a classroom on a day to day basis. We need someone who recognises the enormous amount of good work done by some amazing teachers all over the country. They deserve to be recognised and praised not critisised and put down.
