Lil Wayne: Apologize to the Family of Emmett Till

Lil Wayne has disgraced the name of Emmett Till by using the unfortunate events that led to his death to make a sexual reference in his lyrics. This is disrespectful and spits in the face of the civil rights movement.

The Till family has demanded an apology. Do it.

I'm tired of the hip-hop industry inflicting the African American community with violence, sex and degradation. We demand something better!

I have an 11 yo daughter who's classmate said, 'I got this H trained' on the bus. He was reprimanded. But it's movies and music that tell these tweens it's okay. These are obscene lyrics as they can be interpreted as supporting malicious rape
