I am Vegan For Life!

    1. Petition by

Elated - Enhancing the Lives of Animals Through Ethical Decisions

Over 170 million farm animals are being killed every day for human consumption! We cannot let another day go by without doing something about it. We invite you to choose a vegan lifestyle. We ask this first and foremost for the animals. Their lives and their bodies are not ours to use. This is about compassion, but it is also about justice. Being vegan is the single most important thing you can do to free farm animals, heal your health and save our environment.

You may be surprised at how easy it is to be vegan. We have absolutely no nutritional need for animal products, we can get all of our nutrients from plants. Being vegan is joyful, life-affirming, healthy and the best decision you will ever make.

Please commit to being Vegan For Life!

Sign this Petition today to do something truly meaningful for animals.

Resources to Help You Be Vegan

How You Can Transition to Vegan - You don't have to be perfect to be vegan. Just commit to replacing animal products with vegan alternatives. Even if you only start with one vegan meal a week, you have taken the first step on your vegan journey!

The True Lives of Farm Animals - Farm animals are sentient beings. They are self aware. They feel joy and pain. However, we ignore that fact by classifying them as property. Over 62 billion land animals are killed for human consumption every year. That doesn’t include the trillion sea creatures. It doesn’t even include the animals who die on farms before they reach someone’s plate; like the downed animals who are too sick to walk onto the kill floor, or the millions of male chicks killed in the egg industry.

You can save the lives of over 400 animals every year by going vegan. Please sign this Petition today and make a real difference for animals!

Do you have any questions about a vegan lifestyle? You are welcome to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Warm Regards
Karen Johnson

Do not believe these living beings with developed Brains not be eaten and how they are abused terribly behind closed slaughter house doors. They have feelings like us and go through panic when in imminent Danger.Very traumatic.Walmarts slaughter house had video of the pigs being thrown against brick walls to kill them,So if a credible store like walmart doesn't monitor or care how these poor animals are treated,Just imagine all the kill houses that torture the animals the same or worse.

I have no desire to be complicit in the cruelty of Factory Farming. Abuses are too numerous to count and the housing of animals on farms is shocking. Then there is the manner in which they are transported and slaughtered. I am bewildered as to how anyone would want to contribute to this horrific "business". I am vegan for life. I cannot imagine ever again having these animals to suffer for my benefit.

Becoming vegan has 3 massive benefits. 1: It significantly curbs greenhouse gas emissions, reduces consumption of fuel, water, land, food, and antibiotics, substantially increasing the efficiency of our economic systems. 2: It stops the majority of animal cruelty and opens people up to feel more compassion for all living creatures. 3: Despite popular belief, meat and dairy and all animal products are harmful for human health. We are not carnivores or omnivores; our bodies thrive on a plant-based diet. Becoming vegan will greatly reduce chronic disease, obesity, and poor health in general. So... a better question is, why wouldn't this be important to me?
