We are all at risk of losing our civil rights and everything we own to abusive for profit guardianship, the great crime of the 21st century-- legalized identity theft. All you have to do is grow old in America to be at risk. Your civil rights--your very life-- can disappear in a flash if you have assets that this system wants to confiscate. It is happening all across America and it will happen to someoone you know--maybe to somneone in your family.

Because I am too a victim of a 10 year Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation in Oregon, where law enforcement does not want to deal with family matters.

I have so many older relatives as well as I myself am getting up there in age and I want to know my rights are protected.

My grandmother had been treated for symptoms of dementia for years. Her doctor called APS instead of the family emergency contact when he became concerned for her welfare. A "friend" had her sign a revocation of her daughter's POA, hired an attorney & filed for guardianship even though her daughter had been her POA for nearly 10 years & was an owner on all assets. How is it that a daughter & son could lose the right to make decisions for their own mother to a party that has no legal rights under the laws of that state & was not an heir?

I will be a senior soon but more importantly is the right to be treated with respect as a fellow human being.

I don't want the government in charge of my end of life care.
