Millions of Crohn's Disease sufferers worldwide are condemned to their homes and toilets, losing their lives to Crohn's Disease. Immune system suppression and symptom-suppressing meds and multiple surgeries are NOT the answer. Study MAP, Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis with sufficient funding to eradicate this pathogen from our food chain. Inspect dairy products worldwide. My daughter Cathy Bray, 44 died February 24, 2012 after 24 years of debilitating horror and useless medications. There are countless others in the same circumstances as hers. We need real Cures not more symptom-suppressing worthless medications...

I am so sorry for your loss, Mr. Bray. I am married to Mike Collins, so my understanding of the connection between MAP and Crohn's is from the best! I sincerely hope MANY more people can get cured due to this connection.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss Mr Bray. IT's a sad event and my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

MAP does cause Crohn's ( or at least a signif proportion), as proven by criteria that attributes causality to disease by infections (called Koch's postualtes). I'm am involved in the treatment of Corhn's with anti MAP therapy and it is truely the way forward. Clinical trials are needed now and are being organised in Australia and the US.

I've known about certain studies since the 70s and again in 1990. There are links to Crohn's that aren't pursued.
