COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA - Pennsylvania Game Commission, we call upon you, as public servants sworn to uphold the Pennsylvania Constitution, to oppose the proposed oil and gas lease of State Game Lands #150, Tract 150A-12 containing approximately 586.007 acres, located in Pulaski Township, Lawrence County, PA. Portions of State Game land #150 are located within 1000 feet of the Pulaski Elementary School and are also within a 100 year flood zone.
The controversial method of drilling for natural gas that has been tied to groundwater contamination across the U.S and around the world. Gas drilling in the Marcellus and Utica Shale has become one of the greatest threats to Pennsylvania’s environment and public health in decades, including:
• Contaminating drinking water supplies;
• Destroying the public lands of the Commonwealth; and
• Increasing air pollution

To:
COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA - Pennsylvania Game Commission,
oppose the proposed oil and gas lease of State Game Lands

Sincerely,
[Your name]

      I want to thank each and everyone of you who took time out of your busy lives to sign the petition and even call the game commission. It's hard to make time to do anything these days and I appreciate your efforts tremendously. Fracking affects everyone.

      The PA game commission voted unanimously to lease mineral rights to frack all FOUR game lands in the state despite having over 300 calls opposed to the idea in less than a day and a half! I talked to the clerk secretary taking these calls and she told me that they were just routed to her and that the commissioners never even were informed of our calls before the vote! Our voices fell on deaf ears.

      Fracking will effect humanity for generations to come. Keep up the good fight my friends. There is nothing else we can do because we sure can't sit around and take this from our state government.

      We need to protect our State Game land for our descendents. given the record of recent oil spills I do not trust any oil companies to do so.

      i think public lands should stay protected. they were put aside so that we would have them to enjoy for generations. if we ignore our reasons for setting them apart then one day we will find ourselves with nothing.

      Because everyone who is so determined to become "energy independent" doesn't think about the cost of becoming water dependent. It's a frightening idea that is all too possible and the economy should not be put ahead of Pennsylvania's citizens health. Period. We can't drink or water crops with oil and gas...

      Our public land must be protected from the incursion of fossil fuel companies.

      I'm concerned for two reasons, the need to preserve our most precious resource, water and the need to preserve open space for all to enjoy
