    8. Ian Wilkie interviewed on the Bill Kelly radio show

Recently, Ian Wilkie spoke with Bill Kelly on 900CHML about the fight of he and his wife's lives. He spoke eloquently about the conditions of their lives right bow and how this entire unfortunate situation has unfolded from the start. It is an important piece to listen to and certainly gives us - supporters both present and future - deep insight to the struggles to keep Wafaa Abdou from deportation. Please listen here:

    11. Wafaa being deported - here's what you can do

      kate grabowski
      Petition Organizer

We learned the very sad and upsetting news, yesterday, that Wafaa is being deported (she was slated for the next available flight yesterday). While this is most disturbing and not at all the direction we have been fighting for, it is not the time to concede defeat.

We can turn this impotent anger into productivity and I encourage everyone willing to write to the following governmental outlets for justice. You can express yourself in your own words, but if you you want just an easy 'copy&paste' solution, here it is:

      Contact@cbsa.gc.ca
      pm@pm.gc.ca
      david.christopherson@parl.gc.ca
      jason.kenney@parl.gc.ca
      minister@cic.gc.ca

      Message:

I DO NOT SUPPORT THE DEPORTATION OF WAFAA ABDOU.

      Signed:
      Name and address

It really is this easy to speak out against this alarming situation.

As many rejoice with family over this Easter weekend, please keep Wafaa in your thoughts and take a small moment to write to the above contacts.

      Peace.

Because the government sucks and takes innocent people away from their families and lets horrible people in and cause trouble. Get your priorities straight.

A Canadian citizen and his 3 Canadian children should not have to live without their mother another day. They were evacuated because of civil war, a danger to the family, so how dare they send one of five back to suffer.

Children need their mother and governments need to protect basic human rights and show compassion.
