On November 17th, 2012 my wife, Rocio Almanza, went into a coma.

She was rushed to the hospital and has been unresponsive ever since.
We’re high school sweethearts. We’ve been married for over four amazing years. We went to college together, we’ve lived together and we’ve loved together.

In 2010, I was diagnosed with cancer. She stood by me for six months while I underwent Chemotherapy.

The pain was unbearable, but she was always there. She fed me when I was too weak to move. She talked to me when I was too lucid to talk.

Now it’s my time to be there for her.

As a citizen, I have not been able to obtain legal status for my wife for the past four years, not for not trying. We’ve tried for the past four years, but the amount of red tape can make this process last a decade.

After President Obama signed the decree we were beyond words. It was finally happening.
The day we had our immigration appointment; she collapsed from a seizure.
She’s had multiple spinal taps, brain biopsies and tests done to her. The doctors still don’t know what’s wrong.

We are now approaching a sick and twisted situation:

If Rocio improves, she'll need rehab. If she improves enough, she could be accepted by a local skilled nursing center.

However, If she cannot breathe on her own, Banner will "repatriate" her to Mexico, where her care would be paid for. You and I both know this is the same as deportation.

Help me in telling Banner Desert Medical Center to back off their "repatriation" argument. Tell Banner" Do Not to Deport my wife (I’m a US Citizen) for lack of health insurance.

      Hi All,

We were able to get our case in front of the media and the hospital has backed away from "repatriating" my wife.

She is currently recovering and she has been moved to another wing of the hospital outside of ICU, something that the hospital had initially refused to do.

I thank you all for your support. This wouldn't have been possible without you.

Why is this important to you? (Optional)Because I was framed for attempted murder of police officers, by the Jefferson County Sheriff Dept., District Attorney's office and corrupt judges of Jefferson County, Colo., an on-going conspiracy of which I look forward to sharing. I have signed your petition hoping that you and yours will sign my petition of help. I have a website, petition, and a U-Tube video to share entitiled "Help me buy justice". Pass it on.
