Nobody talks about the land or the people of Arkansas at the LR Hearings
For SPP, AEP, SWEPCO, Carroll Electric and Entergy, a chunk of money should be enough: pay Arkansas landowners for the right of way.
We should shut up and go away, and live with ugly 180 feet transmission lines defacing large strips of our land right through the middle of our homes and farms.
Who cares about the forest and wildlife, rivers, clean air and drinking water? Who cares about the tourists that will never be back?
With the money from the ROW we can buy bottled water and large TVs. We can wear face masks and respirators and buy bottled oxygen as AEP crews burn 800 acres of our trees, .
Trees are not decorations, they help get rid of deadly carbon dioxide (CO2) to help us breath.
But maybe Arkansas Living, a great magazine Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation members get for free, got it right and CO2 is good for us, and we should write our senators to fight the bad people at EPA that want to shut down coal plants and slow down progress.
