Parks & Climate Network (Kingston ON)

Kingston's Parks and Climate Network aims to create a virtual network of individuals and organizations concerned about issues as close to home as our local parks and as encompassing as the global climate crisis. In addition to raising awareness, educating and building a speakers' bureau ready to provide information and lead discussions on the causes and impacts of rapid climate change, our purpose is to foster ties between community organizations, institutions, faith communities, farmers, educators, public servants, scientists, health care providers, businesses and individuals in the Greater Kingston area that share common concerns. Together we can help find alternative approaches and solutions to conditions, practices and policies that threaten our environment, both locally and globally.
