The Clean Air Council's mission is to protect the right of everyone to breathe clean air.  Founded in 1967 by concerned physicians, community members, and businesses, the Council is the largest environmental health advocacy organization in the region.  Headquartered in Philadelphia and backed by 8,000 members, the Council works through public education, government oversight, and advocacy to reduce the public health effects of air pollution.
