Stand with Terry McAuliffe for Women

      Terry McAuliffe for Governor

Terry McAuliffe believes that women should be able to make their own healthcare decisions, without interference from Washington or Richmond.

But his opponent disagrees. As attorney general, Ken Cuccinelli took advantage of his office to threaten women’s health providers. Now, he’s campaigning to become Governor of Virginia.

If you agree that women’s health issues are better made by women and their doctors, then make your voice heard and join Terry McAuliffe’s campaign. Together, we can stop Ken Cuccinelli, because the women of Virginia deserve better.

I’m joining Terry’s campaign because I believe our next governor should respect a women’s right to make her own health decisions.

The connection between women's human rights, gender equality, socioeconomic development and peace is increasingly apparent.

Women's empowerment is intertwined with respect for human rights.

When Ken Cuccinelli is thwarted by GOP legislation from obtaining birth control and therefore becomes pregnant against his will and is again thwarted in his efforts to have an abortion, and then bears a child and has to try to survive by holding a minimum wage job or two, then he might be able to claim some right to suggest how the government of Virginia may be able to respond to women's healthcare decisions.
