Youth Noise Incorporated

Mission

The mission of YouthNoise is to enable young people to become informed, engaged, and connected citizens with a voice that is heard around the world. We want to inspire and empower youth everywhere to catapult their passion and idealism into movements to sustain the planet.

Programs

YouthNoise Website: The web site serves more than 2,800 pages of content on a broad range of "civic" topics. More than 90% of this content is written by youth. A team of 150 writing interns, working virtually from around the globe, create the bulk of new content for the site. They write about their personal experiences and opinions.
Within the website we are highlighting a number of specific programs, including:

YHealth: A preventive health & personal sustainability messaging program

YWorks: Offers a space where youth can start projects, add reflection about the projects, and inspire and engage others through a networked experience.

Citijo: An innovative, youth citizen journalism program through which youth write and video reports for the YouthNoise website as well as for other media outlets.

MyCauseIs: Invites youth to identify their cause(s) and adopt that cause around the web, off-line and within their communities, and to make pledges to act through YouthNoise.

Just-1-Click: Provides our users with the opportunity to highlight a worthy organization that receives 1 cent for every click-through on the site (up to $1,000 per organization).
