WVSA ARTs connection (WVSA) is a unique non-profit organization providing multiple creative environments, opportunities, and experiences for children and adults through arts-infused educational and vocational programs.
Programs
WVSA ARTs connection offers three main programs: a public charter school, an employment training program, and an art gallery.
WVSA's School for Arts In Learning (SAIL) is a unique K-8 public charter school providing multiple creative environments, opportunities, and experiences for all children through arts-infused academic programs. For more information, visit www.sailpcs.org.
WVSA's ARTiculate Employment Training and Outreach Program is a supplemental education service that provides access to multiple arts-infused educational and vocational experiences for youth, adults, and organizations.
As a vocational and life skills program, the ARTiculate Program assits youth with special needs in their transition to the young adult working world. Many students are Artist Apprentices working with a professional artist where they not only create artwork, they also learn entrepreneurial skills and sell their artwork in the ARTiculate Gallery.
WVSA's ARTiculate Gallery is a unique and accessible downtown retail venue providing creative environments, opportunities, and experiences connecting WVSA Artist Apprentices and established and aspiring artists with organizations and all art lovers.
The ARTiculate Gallery has six art exhibits a year of the ARTiculate Program's Artist Apprentices where the young people receive a commission on sales of their artwork.
