From the Bronx to Ft. Benning: Close the SOA!
You can support an important travel stipend fund today.
Learning from our partners in Oaxaca, Mexico and Honduras, about the repression they face and the resistance they put forth is important. We're showing this film Sunday, November 8 at 4 pm at Busboys at 5th and K and will discuss this there.
The event is part of a fundraising effort to help a group of young folks from the South Bronx, NY travel to the convergence and direct action at Ft. Benning, GA.
For those of you who can't make it to the film showing, you can still help us help this trip happen and help the movement to close the SOA grow. Can you donate $15 today? Please mark your donation in the name of "Witness for Peace Mid Atlantic."
Any donations we gather beyond the $500 needed for this travel stipend will be contributed to Corrugated Films for the production of their awesome documentary Un Poquito de Tanta Verdad (A Little Bit of So Much Truth). Thank you for your support!
