In this case, actions speak as loud as words. While we all can't be in Africa ourselves to help combat illiteracy, we can lead by example here at home by reading to our children every night and instilling in them a love for reading and knowledge.

Also, talk to your children about how badly African children want to learn and have access to books and let them know that your family supports Wings of the Dawn in order to help these dreams come true for thousands of African Children.

  1. This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible starting after Dec 29, 2008.
