I pledge to spread the word that wild animals should not be exploited for entertainment
In India, sloth bear cubs are poached from the wild and taught to "dance" using a very painful procedure. These animals perform daily for tourists' spare change, which just encourages the bear dancers to steal more cubs from the forest. Wildlife SOS has rescued more than 500 of these bears, who now live safe in sanctuaries. Still, 100 bears remain on the streets, and we need your help to save them.
• I will learn all I can about the plight of wildlife in India, and around the world.
• I will report wildlife crime, whether while traveling abroad or in my own community.
• I will encourage my friends and family to support Wildlife SOS in their work to rescue India's remaining dancing bears.
This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible.

I think its humans responsibility to protect and be care takers of our planet and all of its creatures. Not to abuse , torture, and exploit them.

animals are superior beings and should be respected, admired and protected.

This is just heart breaking. Perhaps if enough people protest, it will stop.

Been advocating against this tragic exploitation for a long, long time and will continue to do so. Also alerted organizations fighting it to be aware that those who depend on this tourist trade for a living are largely marginalized people unable to get other work, and that they need to have access to some other form of making a living which is suitable for them.

Ever since I was a little girl and I would go to the circus where my uncle worked as a clown, I would cry about the tigers and elephants being in these tiny cages and I hated to go.
