The World cup will be held in South Africa in the summer of 2010. WGAN is developing a training program for our bead specialist in Durban to benefit from this huge event.
The women will need supplies, transportation, meals, childcare a space to work, and a key location to sell their products. The training program is scheduled for August-October, from there the women will begin to produce quality unique products for sale.
This is a huge opportunity,and is hoped to be the catalyst for sustainability for these struggling artisan women.
