Teach Them To Care

Mission

'Teach Them to Care' is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in Middle Tennessee for the purpose of serving the underprivileged and enhancing opportunities available to low income families and children who have access to significantly fewer advantages in life due to economic barriers as well as those individuals that experience hardship due to a disability.

Teach Them to Care seeks to increase opportunities, and positively affect the lives of single working mothers. Single Mothers who have significantly fewer opportunities to afford their children with; that steams from poverty and are living in an invisible, but growing American class of “the Working Poor”...

Thereby fulfilling vacancies in support systems for these moms as well as their children who are experiencing the struggles presented to their single parents, right along with them. We Promote Literacy and Self-Sufficiency, courses on budgeting, checking & saving knowledge, insurance, taxes, goal setting & critical thinking, preparing for college, successful small business ownership, as well as preparation for homeownership.

Teach Them to Care seeks to ignite ground-breaking passion for achieving the reachable. Breathing belief back into communities and practical dreams of yesteryear; inspiring and assisting those that we serve to become motivated self-sufficient, zealous participants in their journeys — in both a brighter today and beyond’. Programs

Teach Them to Care (tttc) is seeking assistance in preparing for the launce of a program that our founder has written, based on her own mothers' life, that will assist single parents with an initiative for "Breaking the Cycle" of (often what is generational) poverty in the America.

TTTC is a new Nonprofit that has not launched any programs yet. Our plan is to launch "Breaking the Cycle" as the funds become available in 2008...

This program is ready to go; However, it lacks the funding to launch. We do not have a Grant Writer or Program Developer and would really like a few local skilled volunteers to help review everything in order to ensure finishing up correctly.

A Funding Proposal has been written and although we have found many sources that would probably 'consider' giving aid to its launch, we do not know exactly which source would be the best or correct selection for our first presentation.

Naturally any contributions that you make will be of assistance, but the figure in the Amount Needed space below does not actually represent the Funding "Amount" Needed as we felt it improper to announce that sum ahead of  the program itself .

Donations made for this programs purpose will be set a side in a seperate fund specifically to be used for the programs successful launch.

If you would like to assist with operational expenses that would be great; considering our current operating resources are donations that are designated as such... TTTC Does Not Currently Have Any Paid Staff Members.

PLEASE, We Encourage You, as an Appreciated and Valued Donor to  Specify how You Would Like Your Donations to be used.  For Example, You Could Specify, For Use of Program Development, or Operational Expenses, or Other uses as you like.

People who Support TTTC in Lauchiing the program do so Because it will assist single parents with an initiative for Breaking the Cycle of generational poverty. You Can too - Join Our Cause and HELP Spread AWARENESS or Make a Donation Today.

(The Special Needs Childrens Assistance Fund has been put on stand by pending further developmental assesments.)

This page will be updated Frequently in the coming days and weeks with exciting news, so stay tuned!
