The Road to Change
Help Build a Well in Kalimani, Kenya.
It's an image we've all seen...
A marathon runner, sprinting past lines of helpful onlookers with their hands outstretched... offering water. It's water that seems to be everywhere. And though it may be abundant, every runner will tell you, it's always a welcome sight.
In October 2009, everything changes...
One runner has decided to change the game. As he runs a 100 mile race in less than 30 hours, he'll have his hands outstrecthed with you and other supporters, offering a cup of cold water to people who have none. He'll be reaching half way around the world to do it.
Run, Give, Dig...
Charles Hurst, his running partners, and supporters of the "The Road to Change Project" are raising money to help dig a well in Kenya, Africa that will give clean, safe drinking water to over 4,000 people...and they want you to be a part of it! Together, if each of us reaches out with just one cup, a small contribution, we can provide the clean, safe water this community so desperatly needs. Please make a donation and then invite your friends and family to do the same.
TOTAL PROGRESS TO DATE: (We receive gifts offline as well)
As of December 10, 2008 - $3,486 (raised and pledged)
