The Water Project

New Update System Online

Published February 04, 2009 @ 12:06PM PT

We’re excited about the launch of our improved system for updating you on the work we’re doing together.

Check it Out Here

We are now able to get information out to you much quicker than before, and we’ll be using these new tools to make shorter, more timely updates, much more often.

Our goal is to make you a part of the story as it unfolds…not just at the beginning and the end. We’re working with our partners in the field to get pictures from each step in the water project process, whenever they can.  We’re also asking that GPS fixes be sent as soon as possible.  You’ll notice that we’ve got Google Maps integrated into updates now too so that you can see where the work is happening in the world.

You can subscribe to these updates using RSS (see the right-hand column).  With current browsers you’ll be able to see updates as they are posted, keeping you right in the middle of the action.

Finally…everything on our website has been comment-enabled.  This is how you jump into the conversation.  You can even login via your FaceBook account.

So…come on, let us know what your thinking.  Your voice will inspire others to get involved too.  And you’ll very likely help us do more good together.
