Mission
Theatre In The Valley is striving to bring community theatre opportunities to Henderson Nevada and residents all around the neighboring Las Vegas valley area.
Programs
Following our current goal of establishing a new theater building in Henderson, and along with a regular season of shows:
(1) Create many theatrical opportunities for our local youth.
(2) Establish and host a daytime Senior's reperatory group, where members of the group will select, cast and put on community theatre productions.
(3) To make available an affordable performance venue for various independant theatre groups, including touring companies.
(4) Provide support facilities and space for a variety of community theatrical educational programs.
History
Established in Henderson in 1993, Theatre In The Valley has been producing seasons of community theatre shows at the Valley View Recreation Center until 2007 when we lost our performance and rehearsal space following a local government reorganization of property management and use.
Undaunted, we are continuing to produce shows in whatever performance venues we can aquire. In the continual hopes of soon finding and building a playhouse we can call home.
