Your Dollar Goes A Long Way To Feed the Needy
To help those in need, FedEx Corporation and Schnepf Farms are teaming up with former Phoenix Suns star Jeff Hornacek for the FedEx Makes a Difference Food Drive to benefit St. Vincent de Paul. The food drive kicks off on Jan. 23 and runs until March 23. Throughout the eight weeks, the team set a goal to collect 10,000 pounds of food while drawing awareness to the growing number of Arizona residents in need.
Along with collecting food, FedEx Corporation also is supplying volunteers and donating transportation services to help St. Vincent de Paul fulfill its mission. The food drive will help St. Vincent de Paul prepare 3,500 meals for its five Valley dining rooms and 12 additional non-profit agencies every day. The donations also will be delivered in food boxes to thousands of needy families throughout central and northern Arizona.
You can do your part by helping with the cost of operating the food bank which processes all food donated to St. Vincent de Paul.

Every dollar you donate provides TEN cans of meat, fish, veggies, fruit and other non-perishables to thousands of poor and homeless individuals and families who seek a food box or come to one of our dining rooms for a nutritious hot meal every day. By helping us process donated food, you can stretch your dollar far past its normal purchasing power.
