Ozanam Manor is Arizona's only transitional shelter that is dedicated to homeless adults age 50 and over or age 18 and above who have mental or physical disabilities. It offers them a safe and comfortable place to live and healthy meals. Last year more than 150 people called "Oz" their temporary home.
Oz also provides intensive case management and mentoring that empowers residents to set personal goals, learn independent living skills, obtain permanent housing and improve their self-esteem.
Ideas for Fundraising Projects
* Each night in our shelter costs almost $45 per person, including case management, meals, and other services. You and your group/network can help raise funds in increments of $45 to help cover a resident's costs while at Oz. $315 covers one resident for a week.
* Your group can help raise $2000, which is the cost of running the entire Ozanam Manor shelter for one day.
