Help Someone Attend College
St. Vincent de Paul's One At A Time program identifies high school students (through their guidance counselors) who have the drive and ability to succeed in college, but who need financial aid and mentoring. To qualify, a student must be the first in her family to attend a university. Students are provided with scholarship funding and with a volunteer mentor who can help guide them through the difficult choices that students need to make in their daily lives.
Ideas for Fundraising Projects
Your class, grade level, or company can challenge four other groups to each raise $500. Together the $2500 you raised can pay for an entire scholarship for a year for one of our students.
