Fundraiser For Princess
Princess is a dog that Saving Shelter Pets rescued from an animal hoarder in Georgia. She has lived her entire life so far on the end of a six foot chain - not much of a life for a dog like her. Because she's been neglected most of her life, she's had to have 12 teeth extracted, and worse yet - it turns out she tested positive for Heartworm too (a potentially fatal but treatable disease, common in dogs in the southern US). She is a real sweetie - loves people, loves her toys - and she really deserves a chance at a better life than she's known so far!
Saving Shelter Pets is currently trying to raise funds for her treatment through a number of sources. For boarding, heartworm treatment, then rescue & transport, we figure she's going to need about $866 altogether.
