Help Us To Touch The Future!
One of the primary missions of Save The Orcas is to educate the general public - young people in particular - about the issues facing both wild and captive marine mammals. There are many excellent websites online already which feature this information, but it is our desire to present these facts in new and engaging ways that will add an interactive aspect to learning about wildlife.
Some of our ideas include:
* Fun and graphically appealing multiple choice quizzes to teach viewers biological facts about different types of marine mammals.
* Animated "cartoons" about captivity and environmental issues that affect wildlife.
* Interactive games to promote learning.
* An educational portal for students that can serve as an extension of the classroom and a way for students to go further with their studies and take an active interest in marine biology by actively contributing content, taking additional online courses and exploring career opportunities.
Currently, we are seeking funds for a web-developement team to help us complete our existing website, create online-advocacy tools and integrate an engaging online learning portal that will capture the interests of all visitors, reagrdless of age.
PLEASE help us with this essential and important goal, all contributions will be used for the purposes highlighted in this fundraising campaign. The future of our planet and all it's creatures are in the hands of our children, and it's more important than ever to reach out to them in ways they will connect with. Your help is greatly appreciated, and the planet will thank you.

- I live in the Puget Sound area, and I care about the orca population in our local waters. I think more people need to understand that our whales are endangered and try to help the situation.
