I like the idea of social networking for the socially conscious. This makes it so easy to be an armchair activist. Thank you, Change.org.

Oh, and I'm a lawyer, writer, married mom of two (three if you count the dog). Most recently, I've become the president of a wonderful nonprofit called One Beautiful World, Inc. (www.one-beautiful-world.org).

And I live in Florida, which is quite pleasant during the six months that do not constitute hurricane season.
