About Michelle

I am a mother (boy - age 14; girl -age 9), married, and hold a master's degree in special education. I've been teaching sped for 6 years, and substitute taught for 7 years before that while earning my degrees. My husband is also a teacher. My son has Aspergers, OCD, and dyslexia; my daughter is very bright and highly social. I myself am Aspergers. With our work, and diverse needs as a family, I have a deep interest in Autism and Education issues. Being Jewish also contributes to my interest in issues regarding diversity and inclusion. Due to my son's issues, and because I have myasthenia gravis, I am also deeply concerned with health care.
