About Bob

Retired. Unpaid volunteer within the Health Care for All movement for non-profit single-payer national health insurance. Employed for 1 year registering thousands of hospital outpatients. Now am a full-time researcher and activist, including maintaining http://www.goodhealthforall.org My health insurance premiums literally sky-rocketing (600% in 6 yrs). I and my young family lived for five years in one of the other industrialized countries, ALL of which have non-profit financing of health care and NONE of which have any citizen worry about health care bills. Those other countries have significantly better health, yet they pay less than half per person what we pay. This is simple stuff, and most of the people I know or I meet from other countries are astonished at why this greatest country in the world does not have the common sense to get non-profit financing of health care as soon as we possibly can.
