We are pleased to share with our Change.org supporters, that with the help of your support, Downtown Ellensburg ended 2008 with a net increase of 13 new downtown businesses and at least two of our downtown retailers reported that this was their best year ever!
Our Brown Bag Business Basics small business education program received a Washington State Excellence in Downtown Revitalization award, and we made great strides in working with the City to address the complex code compliance issues that often hinder adaptive reuse of downtown’s historic buildings.
We also successfully funded our first 2 change.org supported projects. The installation of two functional art bike racks, (two more have just been funded and will be installed in May 2009 during national bike to work month) and production of a kids art calendar featuring children’s drawings of Downtown’s important historic buildings.
Thanks to supporters like you it’s been a good year for Downtown Ellensburg and we'll be working hard to make 2009 an equally great year and appreciate your support. please invite your friends to join our efforts.

The Family Union Foundation for Obama's purpose is to raise money to reunite African-American families who were separated during slavery by way of being sold to different slave owners across America. This mission involves uniting grandmothers and grandfathers once kidnapped from their grandchildren to mothers and fathers forcefully taken from their sons and daughters. With DNA testing, we can accomplish this simple task. As a union we can make our ancestors' dreams of finding their love ones finally come true. Please click on the link below to vote for The Family Union Foundation for Obama. You can make an idea become reality by taking two minutes of your time to vote. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Jen,please, check this page.I was in shock when i read it.I saw it in portuguese first, when they added the note that people around that tried to defend her were shot. One boy was killed. They had some kind of "nurses" there to check if she was already dead in one moment, but, they found out she wasn't and she was put inside a hole, and stoned again until death.

Hi Jen,
I just completed a Music Video promoting our next President, Barack Obama that I want to share with you. Perhaps there is a way you can help promote it. The video features the music of John Mayer, and original rap lyrics by Ben Nathan. It offers a breath of fresh air amid the negative advertising and economic turmoil of the past weeks, and gets right to the core of why so many of us will vote to elect Barack on November 4th.
I invite you to view this video by clicking here: Barack Obama: Music Video, or by copying and pasting the following url into your browser address bar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu4yqnr_b5I.
If you enjoy the video, please rate it accordingly on YouTube, and pass it on to your friends and family by forwarding this email or by clicking on the "share" button below the video viewer on YouTube.
Thank you for your time and energy, and for your commitment to the democratic process in our country!
Peace & Blessings,
Ben Nathan

Thank you for supporting the Ellensburg Downtown Association. We are a grass roots local non-profit working to preserve and revitalize Ellensburg’s historic Downtown using the National Main Street Center’s 4-Point Main Street approach.
We are very excited about change.org and it’s potential to help us build a stronger community and more vibrant Downtown. While we are still pretty new to change.org we are accomplishing great things with the help of our supporters like yourself. You can find more information about the Ellensburg Downtown Association and our efforts at www.myspace.com/ellensburgdowntown or www.ellensburgdowntown.org

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I am very excited about Change.org and the opportunity it provides to support the important non profits and charitable causes that make a difference in our communities and the world we live in.
I have started the action Support Downtown Revitalization to help build awareness of the important community building work that local non profits are doing in communities across the country to create and maintain vibrant and healthy downtowns.
I hope you will consider taking this action and if you have a favorite non profit for working to revitalize your downtown please recommend them to change.org
