Nancy is the 1st woman speaker of the house! and what a good one! She has become the #1 dem in the house withOUT having to compromise her liberal ideals. Unlike others we have seen go soft. A grandmother who wields the power to organize the democrats. Let's hope she can get the dems to do what is right.

Strong Face of the Democratic Party

Aside from being the first female Majority leader of the House, Nancy Pelosi has been exactly the leader that the Democratic Party needs against the Bush Administration. An advocate for world wide, she believes and has stood for the notion that women are peacekeepers of the society, and that they should be invested in. With this month being the deadliest one for US forces in Iraq, Pelosi has steadfastly opposed the president and his pro-war stance. Having forced the president to negotiate and soften his stance. Anti-war and pro-gay, she is a strong representative of the Democratic Party, representing its accepting and peaceful face.

Quoting the New York Times’ Jennifer Steinhaur, “Pelosi is the personification of liberal lunacy, an Armani-clad elitist who will help push lawmakers toward an agenda of multi-cultural, tax-raising appeasement.” She has tried and failed rogue diplomacy efforts by visiting Syria. She is undermining this country’s attempt to secure the Middle East, and to many, this is considered treasonous.
