PFAW Is Ready for a New Generation
-
As a former nonprofit professional who spent her entire 20's in NP's, I can name very few organizations that actually encouraged the training and recruitment of young people.
Many organizations come to young people when it is time to fill a rally, press conference, event, march, etc., with bodies. I would dare to say that most turn to youth in the 11th hour to fill the crowd to hear the microphone.
PFAW is one of the few willing to hand the microphone over.
In their online marketing, their outreach, and most importantly their ALLOCATION OF FUNDING, they have made getting the next generation on board a priority.
Not to mention - their research resources just plain rocks my face off. :)

PFAW is a formidable intellectual and political force advancing progressive ideas and policy. Rather than being content to pontificate on the sidelines, PFAW gets actively involved and is one of the few core, permanent institutions in the progressive movement.
