Why This Is Important

As you might know, although, the economy is showing signs of recovery, the month of February stimulus package has done little to directly address the suffering of millions of Americans.  Financial firms and top Wall St. earners have benefited from government largess, but the unemployed, the underemployed, and homeowners facing mortgage foreclosures have been left behind.  Washington can no longer ignore the concerns of the average citizen.  A new stimulus package focused on mortgage assistance, job training, and a broader extension of unemployment compensation than is now being contemplated is essential to any true recovery; in actuality.
